- Download Momentum Hub: Focus Timer from the Mac App Store
- Launch the app and grant notification permissions
- Start your first focus session by clicking «Start a Focus Session»

A: No, the app works fully offline. Internet is only needed for optional iCloud sync.

A: Yes, enable iCloud sync in Settings to access your sessions across all your Mac devices.
Q: Is my data private and secure?
A: Absolutely. All pattern analysis happens locally on your Mac. iCloud sync uses Apple’s encrypted CloudKit service.
Q: How does the smart pattern analysis work?
A: The app analyzes your session patterns, completion rates, and timing locally on your Mac to provide 6 types of insights and suggest optimal session lengths.
Q: What are the 6 types of smart insights?
A: Peak hours analysis, best day tracking, focus score calculation, current streak, best streak record, and focus level (interruption analysis).
Q: Notifications aren’t working. How do I fix this?
A: Check System Preferences > Notifications > Momentum Hub: Focus Timer and ensure «Allow Notifications» is enabled.
Q: iCloud sync isn’t working. What should I do?
A: Verify iCloud is signed in (System Preferences > Apple ID) and iCloud Drive is enabled. Restart the app to retry sync.
