  • Focus session durations and types (Work, Learning, Creative, Break)
  • App preferences and settings
  • Optional productivity goals you set

Information Automatically Collected

  • Session start and end times (processed locally on your Mac)
  • Session completion status and interruption tracking
  • App usage patterns for smart suggestions (processed locally on your Mac)
  • Calendar event data (read-only, processed locally for pre-meeting focus suggestions)

How We Protect Your Data

Local Processing First

ALL pattern analysis happens on your Mac. Momentum Hub: Focus Timer processes your productivity data locally using on-device intelligence. The app analyzes your 6 types of smart insights, productivity heatmaps, focus scoring, and interruption patterns entirely on your device. We never send your session data, patterns, or insights to external servers.

Optional iCloud Sync

If you choose to enable iCloud synchronization:

  • Data is encrypted using Apple’s CloudKit service
  • Only you can access your data across your devices
  • We cannot access your iCloud data
  • You can disable sync at any time in Settings

What We Don’t Do

  • We don’t track you: No analytics, no user behavior tracking
  • We don’t sell data: Your information is never sold or shared
  • We don’t use external APIs: No third-party services access your data
  • We don’t store data on our servers: Everything stays on your devices

Calendar Integration

Momentum Hub: Focus Timer requests read-only access to your calendar to suggest focus sessions before meetings. This data is processed entirely on your Mac and never transmitted anywhere.

Data Retention

Your productivity data is stored locally on your Mac indefinitely, unless you choose to delete it. You can export or delete all data at any time through the app settings.

Children’s Privacy

Momentum Hub: Focus Timer is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or this website.
