FileMason and all its components (source code, design, icons, texts and documentation) are the exclusive property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
1.3 Terms of use
By using FileMason, the user agrees to:
- Use the application only for personal and legitimate purposes
- Not attempt to modify, decompile or reverse engineer the application
- Create backups before using automatic organization features
1.4 Limitation of liability
FileMason is provided as is, without warranties. The developer shall not be liable for loss or corruption of files, damages arising from use, or incompatibilities with future versions of macOS.
2. Privacy Policy
2.1 Data we collect
FileMason does NOT collect any personal data.
The application works completely locally on your Mac. We do not send, store or process any information on external servers.
2.2 Locally stored data
FileMason only stores on your device:
- Organization rules: The rules you create
- Operation history: To be able to undo actions
- Preferences: Your settings and configurations
- Security bookmarks: References to authorized folders
2.3 File access
FileMason needs access to your files to function. This access:
- Is only granted to folders you select
- Is managed through Apple security-scoped bookmarks
- Can be revoked by removing the folder from the list
2.4 Analytics and telemetry
FileMason does not include any analytics, telemetry or tracking.
2.5 App Store compliance
FileMason complies with all Mac App Store privacy guidelines and operates within the macOS sandbox.
