Encripta is a file and text encryption application for macOS that allows users to protect their information using the AES-256-CBC algorithm. The application works completely locally on the user’s device.
3. Privacy Policy
3.1 Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. Encripta is an application that works completely offline and does not send any information to external servers.

- We do not collect information about the files you encrypt or decrypt

3.2 Local Processing
All encryption and decryption processing is performed exclusively on your device. Your files, texts, and passwords never leave your Mac. The application does not require an Internet connection to work.
3.3 Data Storage
Encripta only stores configuration preferences (such as the preview option) in macOS local preferences (UserDefaults). This information is not synced with iCloud or shared with any external service.
4. Terms of Use
4.1 License of Use
By downloading and using Encripta, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application in accordance with these terms and the Mac App Store conditions.

The developer is not responsible for data loss due to forgotten passwords, system failures, or any other circumstance. AES-256 encryption is designed to be irreversible without the correct password.
