Data We Collect
None. ClipMason does not collect, transmit or store personal data on external servers. All clipboard information is stored exclusively locally on your Mac using SwiftData.
Local Storage
Your clip history, collections, snippets and preferences are saved locally in the application container on your Mac. This data never leaves your device.
Network Connections
ClipMason only makes network connections to:
- Verify ClipMason Pro purchase status through StoreKit (Apple App Store).
No personal information, clipboard content or usage data is sent to any server.
Telemetry & Analytics
ClipMason does not include any analytics, tracking or telemetry SDK. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel or any similar service.
Sensitive Data Protection
ClipMason implements the following protection measures:
- ConcealedType: Automatically ignores content marked as confidential by password managers (1Password, Bitwarden, etc.).
- Excluded Apps: Manually exclude any application from clipboard monitoring.
- Pause: Clipboard monitoring can be paused and resumed at any time.
- Configurable Retention: Set how long history is kept (from 1 day to indefinitely).
Terms of Use
ClipMason is distributed through the Mac App Store and is subject to Apple’s Standard Terms and Conditions (Apple Standard EULA).
In-App Purchases
ClipMason Pro is a one-time (non-recurring) purchase of $9.99 that unlocks all premium features. The purchase is handled through the Apple App Store and is subject to their refund policies.
