Piano Studio Mobile («we», «our app» or «the application») respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal information you might share with us. This policy transparently describes what data is processed, for what purpose, and through which services.

Quick summary

The iOS version is a paid app and shows no ads and uses no third-party services.
The Android version is free and shows advertising through Google AdMob to cover development costs.
We, as developers, do not directly collect any personal data in either version.
All music functionality (keyboard, recordings, playback, MIDI) runs locally on your device.

Information we DO NOT collect

Piano Studio Mobile does not directly collect, store or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone, etc.).
We do not access your contact list.
We do not collect location data.
We do not access your camera or microphone.
We do not use our own cookies or tracking technologies.
We do not create user accounts or profiles.

How the app works

The core music experience of Piano Studio Mobile runs locally on your device:

Local storage: your recordings and imported MIDI files are saved only in your device’s local storage.
No user accounts: no sign-up or login required.
No servers of our own: we never send your recordings or preferences to any server we control.
Internet connection: not used on iOS. On Android it is used exclusively to request and display Google AdMob ads.

Data stored locally

The app stores on your device only:

Piano recordings that you choose to save.
MIDI files that you import.
Your configuration preferences (sound type, language, musical notation, zoom level, etc.).

Important: this data stays exclusively on your device and you can remove it at any time by uninstalling the application.

App permissions

Piano Studio Mobile may request or declare the following system permissions:

Audio: to play piano sounds. No external audio is recorded.
Storage: to save your recordings and MIDI files locally.
Internet and network state (Android only): required so that the Google AdMob SDK can request and display ads.

Advertising and third-party services (Android only)

The free Android version of Piano Studio Mobile displays ads through Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. AdMob may collect and process certain information from your device in order to deliver ads, prevent ad fraud and measure ad performance.

Data that AdMob may process includes, but is not limited to:

Device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / AAID).
IP address.
Device model, operating system version and basic technical information.
Interactions with shown ads (impressions and clicks).
Approximate country or region (derived from IP address).

As the publishers of the app, we do not access this data on an individual basis and cannot link it back to you personally; we only see aggregated ad performance statistics in the AdMob dashboard.

Consent (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the first time the Android app is launched it will show a consent form managed through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). In that form you can accept or reject personalized ads. You can revoke or change your choice at any time from the advertising settings of your Android device.

How to reset or limit ad personalization

On Android devices you can reset or delete your advertising identifier at:

Settings > Privacy > Ads (the exact path may vary depending on manufacturer and Android version).

Security

We do not collect or store personal data on our own servers. The processing of the advertising data described in this policy is carried out by Google under its own security measures.

Children

The app is not specifically directed to children under 13. If a minor uses the Android version, adult supervision is recommended, since ads served by Google AdMob will be displayed. The iOS version is paid and ad-free, making it more suitable for family use without advertising.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the «last updated» date at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
